Akabana Consulting was delighted to have been invited to speak at the recent 2024 Charleston Conference, the premium annual meeting of academic librarians, scholarly publishers, policymakers and vendors. It was our first time at the event, and even more excitingly we were invited to convene and moderate panel discussion entitled "Research misconduct: How does impact librarians and the library community?"
We were honoured to work with a panel of three highly knowledgable and skilled experts: Rick Anderson (University Librarian, Brigham Young University), Caitlin Bakker (Discovery Technologies Librarian, University of Regina) and Amanda Sulicz (Publishing Ethics Specialist, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, IEEE) on this timely discussion topic. Akabana Consulting is absolutely delighted that over 220 delegates joined us for what was recognized as being a "Highly Attended" session!
We would like to thank IEEE for its support in bringing session together.
